Following  the announcement on 11 April 2006, CityBlock plc, the AIM-quoted
developer and operator of up-market, secure, off-campus student accommodation,
today announces that is has exchanged contracts for the purchase of a
development site in Carlisle for the sum of #650,000. Debt funding will be
provided by Yorkshire Bank plc. The site is in a prime student-orientated
location in the Carlisle area.
